Meghan Holt

Communications Intern

Meghan Holt is a rising senior at Fairfield University pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Professional Writing. She is a writing center tutor and has previously interned with the Rockland County Department of Social Services and The Child and Family Guidance Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where she developed grant proposals and donor engagement strategies to support low-cost, linguistically accessible behavioral health services for local families. She recently presented her research on gender expansive themes in nineteenth-century literature at national undergraduate symposia at Harvard and Johns Hopkins University. She looks forward to a career in social policy advocacy and to beginning her field placement as a Community Advocacy Intern at Catholic Charities this fall.
