Advocate for Foster Children

As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), you will be assigned to the case of a child or group of siblings in foster care. With support and guidance from CASA-NYC’s staff, you will provide diligent advocacy to ensure children in foster care have their needs met and rights protected; that they are moved out of foster care as quickly as possible; and that older youth aging out of foster care have the support and resources they need to live independently.

Committed to the cause of advocating for foster children and youth, as a member of the Associate Board you will pledge to advance the work of CASA-NYC among your professional and social networks to support the advancement of the organization’s mission.
