Emily Wiedemann
Emily Wiedemann is the founder of New York based production company Greencard Pictures, a New York City based film production company. A graduate of NYU, Emily worked in freelance commercial production and then started her company at the age of 22. As an Executive Producer her credits include Creative Control (SXSW 2015), Bluebird (Tribeca Film Festival 2013), the mini series Stories from the Felt (2017-2018) and the TV series Two Sentence Horror Stories (CW 2019). Emily is also on the board of a women in film group called Miss-En-Scene which supports young and emerging female filmmakers and producers. She also frequently guest speaks at Grace Church School where she is an alum, to support their high school film program. In her spare time, she likes to cook, travel and hang out with her non-film family: director Zac Stuart-Pontier, their children, Teddy and Mackenzie and their dog Taco.
About Greencard:
Founded in 2006, Greencard is a New York City-based, full-service production company. The work ranges from commercials to branded content to music videos, episodic series, documentaries and feature films, and luxury event production. Accolades include two Cannes Lions awards, a Silver Pencil from The One Show for creative excellence, and a few Addy Awards for Brand TV. Over the years, Greencard has had the opportunity to partake in a great deal of powerful and innovative long-form productions, such as HBO’s The Jinx, Amazon’s Creative Control, and The WB’s female-led, episodic horror series, Two Sentence Horror Stories. They’ve also enjoyed closely collaborating with media aggregates such as HuffPo and Mashable to create eye-catching, shareable, serial content for their clients.
