Description: This full-day training was developed to explore core content areas such as housing, public assistance, parental rights, and child development and how they intersect with our advocacy for Pregnant and Parenting Youth. This training will provide an overview of these systems and areas of need to provide tangible resources and paths for advocacy when working with an expectant or parenting youth in care. While this training segment has historically been offered as part of the Youth Transitioning from Care Intensive curriculum, we invite advocates program-wide to participate as we’ve broadened the scope of the material covered.
