Melanie joined CASA-NYC as a Bronx advocate supervisor in July of 2023 with over 3 years of experience working with children in foster care. Melanie received a Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University in 2021 and BS in Social Work from CUNY York College in 2019. Prior to joining CASA-NYC, Melanie worked at Catholic Guardian Services as a social work supervisor and prior to that was in the role of therapeutic foster care case planner. Melanie has joined CASA-NYC to continue providing advocacy and support for children and families involved in the child welfare system.
